Permanent nursery recruitment
We find people who’ll stay — practitioners, room leaders and managers who fit your team and your way of caring for children.
Hiring takes time you don’t have
Writing adverts, sifting CVs and chasing references all happen on top of running a nursery. And a wrong hire affects children, parents and the rest of your team.
We take on the searching and checking, and because we understand nurseries from the inside, we can tell a good fit from a good CV.

How permanent recruitment works
Step 1: Tell us about the role
We talk through the job, your team, your ethos and the kind of person who’d thrive with you.
Step 2: We search and shortlist
We look through the candidates we know and reach out to new ones, then check their experience and documents.
Step 3: You interview the best few
We send you a short, relevant shortlist and arrange interviews and settling-in sessions around you.
Step 4: We help them settle in
Once you’ve made an offer, we stay in touch with both of you through the first weeks.
Fees
We agree our fee and terms with you in writing before we start, so there are no surprises.Contact us to talk about your role.
Need someone in the meantime? We can provide temporary cover while you recruit.
Questions about permanent recruitment
Which permanent roles do you recruit for?
Everything from nursery assistants and Level 3 practitioners to room leaders, deputy managers, nursery managers, early years teachers, SENCos and nursery cooks.
How long does it take to fill a role?
It depends on the role and the market. Once we understand what you need, we’ll give you an honest idea of timescales — senior and specialist roles usually take longer.
How do your fees work?
We agree our fee and terms with you in writing before we start. Get in touch and we’ll explain how it works for your role.
Can you recruit without naming our nursery?
Yes. If you’d rather keep a vacancy confidential, we can describe the role and area without naming your setting until you’re ready.
Can a temp become permanent?
Often, yes. If someone we’ve placed on cover would be a great permanent fit, talk to us and we’ll explain the options.
