Why register with Brightstart
Work close to home
We work with nurseries across West London & North Surrey, so you can spend less time travelling and more time doing the job you love.
Temp, permanent or both
Pick up flexible cover shifts around your life, look for your next permanent role, or do a bit of both while you decide.
Someone who gets it
Mara has spent over 20 years working in nurseries. We’ll talk to you about rooms, routines and what you’re good at — not just your CV.

Step 3: Get your documents together
We’ll ask for your DBS, references, qualifications and right to work, and explain anything that’s unclear.

Do I have to pay anything?
No. Registering and finding work through us is free. We never charge candidates a fee.
Can I register if I don’t have a qualification yet?
Yes. Nursery assistant and apprentice roles are a great way into early years, and nurseries also need cooks and support staff. Tell us about your experience and we’ll talk through your options.
Do I need a DBS certificate before I register?
No, you can register first. If you’re already on the DBS Update Service, tell us — it can make things quicker. If not, we’ll explain what to do next.
Can I choose when I work?
Yes. With temporary work you tell us when you’re available, and you can say yes or no to any shift we offer.
What happens to my CV and details?
We only use them to help you find work, and we only share your CV with a nursery after we’ve talked to you about the role. Our privacy notice explains everything.
Ready for your next role?
Register in a few minutes and we’ll be in touch.
